I am writing to you on behalf of the entire Four Seasons Health Club management team to inform you of some significant changes that we are implementing in the coming months. We understand that these modifications may impact your experience with us, and we want to assure you that we are committed to managing these changes in a way that minimizes disruption and maximizes benefits for all our members.
Firstly, due to the escalating costs of maintaining our facilities and providing top-quality services, we find it necessary to adjust our membership prices. Starting December 1, 2023, there will be a modest increase in our membership fees of $3/month (students, seniors, and satellite memberships excluded). This decision was not taken lightly, but it is essential to meet the rising operational costs and continue providing you with the high-quality services that you have come to expect from us. We believe that even with this adjustment, our membership fees remain competitive and provide excellent value for the quality of facilities and services we offer.
Secondly, we regret to inform you that we will be closing two of our locations: the Pierce and Morningside locations. This decision was made after a careful review of all our locations, taking into account factors such as facility usage, member feedback, and operational costs. The closures will be effective November 1, 2023. We understand that this may cause inconvenience to some members, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause.
However, we are excited to share that we will be enhancing our services and facilities at the Central location by including 24-hr. access for all memberships. Additionally, we are launching a rewards program with a catalog of items for redemption and improving our wellness programs by including two exhaustive video libraries with membership. These improvements are part of our continued commitment to providing a superior fitness experience for all our members by bundling many benefits into membership.
For those members who primarily use the Pierce or Morningside locations, we will transfer your membership to our other locations at no additional cost for the next six months. Our team is ready to assist you in making this transition as smooth as possible.
